ABOUT ALL STARS CRICKET
SCCC SUPPORTING CORNWALL CRICKET BOARD AND ALL STARS CRICKET!
Cornwall Cricket Board have already done a fantastic job in signing up 29 Clubs across Cornwall to take part in the initiative. Cornwall Cricket Board have joined forces with the Someset County Cricket Club and the ECB to hopefully further its reach in the South West as well as reward those who sign up.
Working across Cornwall, Somerset, Devon, and Dorset, Somerset County Cricket Club is delighted to announce that all children who sign up to All Stars Cricket will be offered a free ticket to watch a NatWest T20 Blast or International U19 match* at the Cooper Associates County Ground this summer. With four games to choose from, all those who sign up will be sent a link towards the end of May which will allow them to register their interest with their preferred match dates:
- Somerset v Hampshire, Wednesday 26th July, 17:30
- Somerset v Kent, Saturday 12th August, T20, 14:30 (also includes Western Storm v Loughborough Lightening, KSL at Midday)
- Somerset v Glamorgan, Sunday 13th August, T20, 14:30
- England U19s v India U19s, One Day International (U19s), 10:30
On finalising our commitment to All Stars Cricket and the 150 Clubs who have signed up in our region thus far, Somerset County Cricket Club’s CEO Guy Lavender said: “Our Cricket Board do a fantastic job across the region to engage young children at grassroots level and the introduction of All Stars Cricket will allow them to further that reach."
“As a County Club, it is vital we support these initiatives and encourage new faces to the game as these young children are our future, be it as a player or spectator. So far 150 Clubs across the South West have signed up to All Stars Cricket and through our ticket offer, we look forward to rewarding them to a day out at the Cooper Associates County Ground this summer.”
Joe Skinner from the Cornwall Cricket Board said: “All Stars Cricket is a fantastic way of introducing young children to playing cricket and getting their parents to join in, our thanks must go to Somerset County Cricket Club for their support, it will also now give the children the chance to watch their first match too in the most exciting of environments.”
All girls and boys are welcome, and each registered child will receive a pack of cricket goodies including a cricket bat, ball, backpack, water bottle, personalised shirt and cap to keep so that they can continue their love of cricket when they go home.

*Tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Please note some NatWest T20 Blast matches sell out iso purchasing additional adult tickets in advance is recommended to avoid disappointment on the day. Registration is required.
PROGRAMME CENTRES
All Stars Cricket is the first step in the national pathway for cricket. With fun at its heart, the programme aims to inspire children aged five to eight to take up cricket and provide a great first experience of the game. We are excited to bring All Stars Cricket to life with your help and welcome new players, supporters and potential future volunteers to your club.
Your club will receive full support from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) when implementing All Stars Cricket, including the following:
- All Stars Cricket equipment and resources provided at zero cost to the club
- Online and face-to-face volunteer training
- Administration for All Stars Cricket handled centrally by the ECB
- Free centre pack and volunteer kit
- Access to All Stars Cricket support centre
- All Star Incentives e.g. free tickets for children to Test matches and One-Day Internationals
ACTIVATORS
We are looking for excellent volunteers to oversee our All Star Cricket centres, creating a top-class environment for kids and parents alike. Start your search today for those enthusiastic, vibrant and motivated people who will inspire young children at your club.
Although many All Stars Cricket Activators will have excellent experience of cricket it is by no means essential – first and foremost, we are looking for people with fantastic personal skills. Start the search within your club network for the perfect Activator.
REGISTERED CLUBS
Cricket clubs that have already registered to become All Stars Cricket centres can access the online management system, ClubSpark, via the below link.
The system allows clubs to manage their All Stars Cricket details, incorporating the following:
- Adding and updating contact information
- Adding activators
- Setting up bank details
- Inputting programme details – session dates and times, venues and cost
