St Austell Cricket Club are arranging a  Cricket Celebrity Evening featuring Geoff Miller, formerly of Derbyshire, Essex, Natal and England. It will be held at Carlyon Bay Golf Club on Thursday 7th April 2016. The evening will consist of a two course meal, provided by the Golf Club, commencing 7.00 pm for 7.30 pm.

Geoff Miller spent 20 years on the professional cricket circuit  representing England in 34 test matches, 25 one day internationals and participating in seven overseas tours.  He was was elected as a National Selector by the England & Wales Cricket Board in 2008.

With the benefit of his dry northern humour, and having roomed with Sir Ian Botham on five of his overseas tours,  Geoff Miller has many hilarious stories to tell.  Since his retirement he has  become one of the best after dinner speakers on the cricketing circuit.
