Cricket-lovers in Cornwall and organisers of the sport determined to increase participation and community support have launched an innovative county-wide fundraising initiative to boost the game and halt falling numbers of people enjoying it.

The Cornwall Cricket Campaign has now run its cause  over the year and has been responsible for bringing in nearly £47,000 into Cricket in Cornwall. This has been done by hard work and considerable effort by the clubs and indeed the Cornwall Cricket Board.

We have had great success, with the every project successfully being funded. We have had projects from our very own Strength and Conditioning equipment which raised £3000.

Cornwall Cricket Board would like to thank all their donors for there generosity and effort in completing these donations.

Special mention needs to be made to The Cornish Cricket Company who kindly offered a number of one:one coaching sessions free to us which I know have been greatfully received by those that have had the opportunity to be coached.

• Truro CC £1000 - Lightbulbs for Scoreboard
• CSCA £951 - Girls U17 2016 Tour to South Africa
