The League was formed in 1905 and is the only Saturday League in Cornwall. It presently comprises of 70 clubs and 150 competing teams in 13 divisions. The League is administed by a countywide League Management Committee click who meet monthly at the Cornwall Cricket Centre at Truro.

The ECB accredited Cornwall Premier League was established in 2001 with County Division 1 also being a countywide division. Previously the East and West had joined to form two countywide divisions in 1990. County 1 & Division 2 (East & West) form Tier 1. Tier 2 (Divs 3-4) remain geographically split east and west with divisional winners meeting each other in the traditional end of season county finals. For 2017 Division 5 has been split into five sections geographically - Atlantic, Fal, Central, Gannel & Tamar.. The Annual General Meeting is held at County Hall, Truro in the month of January.

Cornwall Cricket is delighted to announce the appointment of Simon Johnson, Head Greenkeeper at Falmouth Golf Club, and Head Groundsman at Mount Ambrose CC as its new named ECB Pitch Adviser. Simon has more than thirty years’ relevant experience and has prepared pitches for Minor Counties’ games while at Camborne CC.
