Sunday's Cornwall Youth Cricket League Finals Day at St Erme CC saw Helston claim the U11 title, defeating Werrington by 22 runs, and Grampound Road gain a surprisingly easy win in the U13 Final, beating Camborne by 10 wickets.  In the gathering gloom, an exciting Under 15 Final was won by Truro CC, who just held off the challenge of Grampound Road by the small margin of four runs (138-134).

this year, and will visit 9 different clubs around Cornwall,

Cornwall Cricket Centre are staging Holiday Courses again - Cricket Games and Skills .

There will again be an opportunity for parents to send youngsters for a few hours of fun cricket at the Cricket Centre during the February half-term.

Development Cricket, the level below our county squads, hits the ground running this weekend, with seven groups being coached at venues in Camborne, Truro and St Austell.

Cornwall Youth Cricket Festival has a planning and election of officers meeting arranged for Tuesday (16th September), at St Gluvias CC, 7.30pm.

Nominations are invited for boys and girls in the U9 age group or lower in 2014, for a hard ball trial day towards selection for the Cornwall U10 training squad for 2015.

It's all action at Grampound Road Cricket Club at the moment.

The 27th Cornwall Youth Cricket Festival begins this Sunday, in Penryn.  66 teams have entered this time.

Great news for junior representative cricket, as the District Trophy got underway last weekend, with a fine win for Duchy U13s over their Kernow counterparts.

Calstock CC has organised a Tamar Under 9 'friendly' indoor league during April. Callington CC was the most successful team in the competition, played at Callington Community College.
