As part of our youth initiative and wanting our best young players within club cricket to be noticed for potential county youth cricket selection, the CCB with the Cornwall Schools' Cricket Association (CSCA) would like clubs to input personal performances of note from within open age adult league cricket.

Youth Honours

What are we looking for? There are three age groups: U13s, U14s and U15 players only. 

In terms of the level of performances we are looking for:

Under 13s - 30 Runs+ or 3+ wickets

Under 14s - 40 Runs+ or 4+ wickets

Under 15s - 50 Runs+ or 5+ wickets

I am sure you would welcome your club players being highlighted and given an opportunity to be known to the County Youth Coaches, so for this to happen please make sure someone from the club takes responsibility and inputs the performances early after each game.

What will the outcome look like? Similar to the ECB honours Board, we will have a shield on the CCB website which highlights notable performances so your players get noticed. The weekly boards will be published on the homepage each Wednesday with the season's archive on the Honours Page.

This is an exciting opportunity to help our younger players, I am sure you will agree to support them as a club.
