There will be opportunities for Girls Cricket in the future. Through Chance to Shine, we have 14 projects planned to deliver through the club network. We are planning to utilise the Sport England and The Cricket Foundation funding to support an ever growing school coaching programme. In 2013 we are attending 21 of the 31 secondary schools to focus on Girls Cricket linked into the clubs needs. This will grow the game and competitive opportunities.
There will be Beach Cricket competitions and Chance to Compete competitions linkled into the Cornwall School Games over the summer, If people would like to know more about Chance to Shine, Lady Taverners or our competitions please make contact with Joe Skinner, Cricket Development Manager.
