Falmouth win the Vinter Cup
Paul 142-5 (M O’Leary 75, K Snell 41; M Goldsbury 3-25), Falmouth 144-3 (S Churcher 71no, S Kellow 38). Falmouth beat Paul by seven wickets.
Matt O’Leary (75) and Kelvin Snell (41) put on 122 as Paul reached 142-5. Three wickets fell in the last over to Matt Goldsbury.
After Richard Kellow made 38, in an opening stand of 69, man of the match Stefan Churcher secured the win, after 53 had been needed off seven overs.
It’s Falmouth’s first win since 1995 and they now meet Werrington next Wednesday for the WT Edwards Cup at Truro.

In a well contested final St Just defeated by seven runs at Penzance C C
Werrington defeated Falmouth by 47 runs at Truro.
This week has seen the Hawkey Cup Final played and the semi-finals completed in both the Vinter and Andrew Cups.
Werrington beat Truro by 35 runs in the Kingfisher Beer Cup Round 4 and will host Bath in the last 16 on Sun 14 July.
A busy week of cup competition culminated on Thursday with Pencarrow snatching the final Rosevear Cup Finals Day spot with a six run win over challengers Lanhydrock and Barripper beating Troon II's by two runs in the Andrew Cup Quarter Finals.
