Davidstow Village Cup
Truro win the 50/50 Cup

In a final played at the fourth attempt it was somewhat fitting that the closing stages and presentation ceremony were played out in steady rain.
Having been put in Helston had been going well at 120 for two in the 36th over but the innings fell away to 155 all out in the final over.
Truro also made a good start and were 110 for three off 29 overs when rain saw play suspended. The knock out stages of the competition allow for a revised target to be set in the event of lost ovesr in the second innings. It meant 12 runs and four overs were knocked off the requirement. Wickets tumbled on the resumption but the winning runs came with almost ten overs to spare.
