There was a busy day in various competitions.
There were wins in the National Kingfisher Beer Cup for Truro and Werrington who will meet in the group final.
Truro beat Warminster by six wickets at Boscawen Park after dismissing the visitors for 142. Tim Marrion made 79 in Truro’s 143 for 4.
Meanwhile Werrington knocked up the large total of 319 for 8 at Devon side Cornwood. Alex Smeeth made 91. Cornwood were all out for 155.

In the Yorkshire Tea Village Cup Stithians made 284 for 5 against Beacon who were 136 all out in reply. In the other group semi-final Lewdown conceded to Roche.

Elsewhere a Cornwall League XI lost to the Devon League by 3 wickets at Torquay click
Cornwall Under 17’s won by eight wickets against Wiltshire at Trowbridge and St Austell Women lost a South West Premier League game by 43 runs at Taunton St Andrews.
Cornwall Under 12;s beat Dorsey by 9 wickets at Ladock.
Finally Cornwall’s MCCA Trophy quarter final opponents were decided yesterday when Berkshire beat Wales Minor Counties by 8 runs at the Mumbles. Cornwall will now travel to Falkland CC at Newbury on June 16th.

In a well contested final St Just defeated by seven runs at Penzance C C
Werrington defeated Falmouth by 47 runs at Truro.
This week has seen the Hawkey Cup Final played and the semi-finals completed in both the Vinter and Andrew Cups.
Werrington beat Truro by 35 runs in the Kingfisher Beer Cup Round 4 and will host Bath in the last 16 on Sun 14 July.
A busy week of cup competition culminated on Thursday with Pencarrow snatching the final Rosevear Cup Finals Day spot with a six run win over challengers Lanhydrock and Barripper beating Troon II's by two runs in the Andrew Cup Quarter Finals.
