Werrington lost Alex Smeeth, Nick Lawson and Mark Hodgson with only three on the board and then struggled to 47 for seven after 25 overs.Young Tom Dinnis hit 38 to see the hundred up. He added 55 for the eighth wicket with Darren Webber.
After an opening partnership of 62 Cornwood reached their target for the loss of four wickets in 23 overs. They are away to Bridgwater in Round three.

In a well contested final St Just defeated by seven runs at Penzance C C
Werrington defeated Falmouth by 47 runs at Truro.
This week has seen the Hawkey Cup Final played and the semi-finals completed in both the Vinter and Andrew Cups.
Werrington beat Truro by 35 runs in the Kingfisher Beer Cup Round 4 and will host Bath in the last 16 on Sun 14 July.
A busy week of cup competition culminated on Thursday with Pencarrow snatching the final Rosevear Cup Finals Day spot with a six run win over challengers Lanhydrock and Barripper beating Troon II's by two runs in the Andrew Cup Quarter Finals.
