WPEL 2nd Play-Off match between Goldsithney CC and Paul CC on Thursday 28 July. This match was reduced to a 16 overs a side match due to the weather conditions.
Penzance - Goldsithney 151-2 (G Lawrence 66, J Stephens 25). Paul 110-7 (K Bawden 43, Jordan Burr 23; J Ralph 4-15, G Lawrence 2-29).
Result. Goldsithney won by 41 runs, and now face Penzance CC in the Play-Off final at Penzance CC on Tuesday 2nd August commencing at 6:00pm.
St Ives, who were last week confirmed as WPEL Champions for 2016, were defeated by Penzance by 7 wickets in the 1st WPEL play-off match on Tuesday 26 July. The match was reduced to 16 overs a side due to the poor weather conditions.
Penzance - St Ives 110-9 (N Tanner 29, A Peters 17; M Lawrence 4-18 lost to Penzance 111-3 (L Devine 56no, M Lawrence 23) by seven wickets in a match reduced to 16 overs.
Having topped the WPEL, St Ives as Champions represent the WPEL against the Mining League Champions, Stithians, in the Annual Challenge match at Camborne CC on Tuesday 9th August commencing at 6:00pm.

The West Penwith Evening League AGM was be held at the Yacht Inn, Penzance on Tuesday 25th February at 7.30pm
The draws for both national club cricket competitions have been announced.

In a well contested final St Just defeated by seven runs at Penzance C C
Werrington defeated Falmouth by 47 runs at Truro.
This week has seen the Hawkey Cup Final played and the semi-finals completed in both the Vinter and Andrew Cups.
Werrington beat Truro by 35 runs in the Kingfisher Beer Cup Round 4 and will host Bath in the last 16 on Sun 14 July.
A busy week of cup competition culminated on Thursday with Pencarrow snatching the final Rosevear Cup Finals Day spot with a six run win over challengers Lanhydrock and Barripper beating Troon II's by two runs in the Andrew Cup Quarter Finals.
There was a busy day in various competitions.
