Saltash claimed the Clive Rosevear Cup, winning the trophy for the third time, following a nine run win over St Austell at Menheniot. A well contested final saw St Austell needing 30 off the last five overs with six wickets left. The game turned in the penultimate over bowled by Ian Smith. He bowled a triple wicket maiden (3-13) to leave the last pair needing 12 of the final over. Skipper Ross Braund was named man of the match having taken four for 13. Brandon Wilson made 29. In the Saltash innings Chris Simpson top scored with 39 and Mark Hutchings got 19 not out. Joe Baker took four for 21.
In the morning semi-final Simpson made 72 as Saltash hit 151 for three against St Minver. Richard Hambly made 32 in St Minver’s 109. The second semi-final saw Gorran shot out for 59 with Mark Bennetts taking three for six and Tom Rosevear, Tom Harris and Joe Baker two each. St Austell were 18-4 but Nathan Libby saw them home with 29 not out.

Semi-finals: Saltash 151- 3 (C Simpson 72; A Rathbone 2 -34), beat St Minver 109 (R Hambly 32; R Braund 2-16, M Hodge 2-24) by 42 runs.
Gorran 59 (D Kendall 15; M Bennetts 3-6, T Rosevear 2-12, T Harris 2-13, J Baker 2-16) lost to St Austell 60-4 (N Libby 29no, S Dixon 3-15) by six wickets.
Final: Saltash 125-5 (C Simpson 38, M Hutchings 19no; J Baker 4-21) beat St Austell 116 (B Wilson 29, J Hughes 24; R Braund 4-13, I Smith 3-13) by nine runs.

In a well contested final St Just defeated by seven runs at Penzance C C
Werrington defeated Falmouth by 47 runs at Truro.
This week has seen the Hawkey Cup Final played and the semi-finals completed in both the Vinter and Andrew Cups.
Werrington beat Truro by 35 runs in the Kingfisher Beer Cup Round 4 and will host Bath in the last 16 on Sun 14 July.
A busy week of cup competition culminated on Thursday with Pencarrow snatching the final Rosevear Cup Finals Day spot with a six run win over challengers Lanhydrock and Barripper beating Troon II's by two runs in the Andrew Cup Quarter Finals.
