Werrington defeated Falmouth by 47 runs at Truro.
After being put in Werrington made the challenging total of 163-6 . After losing Nick Lawson in the first over Alex Smeeth hit a six and six fours in his 49. Adam Hodgson held the innings together making 51 before being fifth out at 151. Falmouth got to 37 before the wickets started to tumble. Richard Kellow top scored with 22. The innings ended at 116 in the 18th over. Man of the match Hodgson took three for 15.
Werrington 163-6 (A Hodgson 51, A Smeeth 49, P Smith 26; M Goldsbury 2-22, A Angove 2-26), Falmouth 116 (R Kellow 22, A Noott 19; A Hodgson 3-15, C Rees 2-13, A Smeeth 2-19). Werrington beat Falmouth by 47 runs.

This week has seen the Hawkey Cup Final played and the semi-finals completed in both the Vinter and Andrew Cups.
Werrington beat Truro by 35 runs in the Kingfisher Beer Cup Round 4 and will host Bath in the last 16 on Sun 14 July.
A busy week of cup competition culminated on Thursday with Pencarrow snatching the final Rosevear Cup Finals Day spot with a six run win over challengers Lanhydrock and Barripper beating Troon II's by two runs in the Andrew Cup Quarter Finals.
