The ECB's new play-cricket website struggled over the weekend due to 'heavy usage' and was either slow or at times, especially on Saturday night, down altogether.
As a result our new look Results page, which has play-cricket embedded, was also affected. An apology has been issued by play-cricket with work being done on the servers to, hopefully, prevent such problems in the future.
Cornwall Cricket, who as a result suffered in its own result gathering on Saturday, apologies to clubs and in general for the frustration caused.
There were two outstanding performances on the first day proper of the Jolly's Drinks Cornwall Cricket League season.

By Sunday night all 74 games had been reported. One was cancelled (Redruth Thirds) due to a wet ground and no fewer than 7 games were conceded in the lower divisions due to player unavailability.
On Sunday a weakened Werrington made it through to the second round of the Royal London Club Cup defeating Devon side Cornwood. St Just beat a Falmouth side, lacking five regulars, by 68 runs. Royal London Club Championship

In a well contested final St Just defeated by seven runs at Penzance C C
Werrington defeated Falmouth by 47 runs at Truro.
This week has seen the Hawkey Cup Final played and the semi-finals completed in both the Vinter and Andrew Cups.
Werrington beat Truro by 35 runs in the Kingfisher Beer Cup Round 4 and will host Bath in the last 16 on Sun 14 July.
A busy week of cup competition culminated on Thursday with Pencarrow snatching the final Rosevear Cup Finals Day spot with a six run win over challengers Lanhydrock and Barripper beating Troon II's by two runs in the Andrew Cup Quarter Finals.
