Bradley's Vinter Cup SF

St Just won through to the Bradleys Vinter Cup Final for 14th time in 16 years on Tuesday night.
They beat Helston by five wickets at Penzance, with 19 balls to spare. Helston lost Mark Jenkin, Dan Jenkin and Lionel Vaaltyn with only 14 on the board. That became 44 for six but there was a late rally as Chris Martin and Karl Leathley put on 56 for the eighth wicket . The innings ended on 118 for 9 when Martin was run out off the final ball for 59. Justin Stephens took two for eight from four overs.
St Just lost Neil Curnow (19), Gary Thomas (one) and Gareth May (20) at 54 for three in the ninth over. They were steered home by Harry Medhurst who hit a six and eight fours in his 54 not out.
St Just will meet Penzance in the final at Camborne on Wednesday 13th July.

Penzance reached their first Vinter Cup Final for 33 years following a 18 run win over Truro at Redruth. Opener Kyle Moyle anchored the innings hitting three sixes in his 69 before being fourth out at 121 in the 17th over. Following a steady start 86 runs came off the last ten overs.
Tom Sharp made 53 for Truro before being bowled by Christian Purchase, with the score at 81 in the 14th over. With 48 needed off the last four overs the task proved too much.

Truro 125-7 (T Sharp 53, K Snell 19; J Ludlam 1-16, C Purchase 1-19, G Smith 1-21, A Angove 1-23, G Fortune 1-33). Penzance beat Truro by 18 runs.
