St Just retain the WT Edwards Cup

CCL President Clive Rosevear and former President Mike Buzza made the presenation to Gareth May at a sunlit Boscawen Park.
St Just won the WT Edwards Cup Final, beating Callington by eight wickets at Truro. It’s the eighth time in ten years they’ve been crowned the T20 champions of Cornwall.
Callington made 115 for 5. After losing dangerman Murray Workman for 15 James Long made 35 and Joe White 38.
St Just were guided home by man of the match Gary Thomas. He made 53 not out and Justin Stephens was 31 not out, with victory coming with 22 balls to spare.

In a well contested final St Just defeated by seven runs at Penzance C C
Werrington defeated Falmouth by 47 runs at Truro.
This week has seen the Hawkey Cup Final played and the semi-finals completed in both the Vinter and Andrew Cups.
Werrington beat Truro by 35 runs in the Kingfisher Beer Cup Round 4 and will host Bath in the last 16 on Sun 14 July.
A busy week of cup competition culminated on Thursday with Pencarrow snatching the final Rosevear Cup Finals Day spot with a six run win over challengers Lanhydrock and Barripper beating Troon II's by two runs in the Andrew Cup Quarter Finals.
