St Erme C C Clubmark
St Erme Cricket Club recently successfully completed its 3 yearly Clubmark re-accreditation – Club Chairman Martin Townsend is pictured receiving the framed Clubmark Certificate from Chris Roberts, Cricket Development Officer at the Cornwall Cricket Board.
Clubmark provides a framework to ensure that cricket clubs have in place suitable policies to ensure the safeguarding children, the provision of a comprehensive programme of cricketing activities, that clubs engage with the communities that they serve to further involvement in cricket and that Clubs are well managed.
In addition, St Erme is a Focus Club working closely with the Cornwall Cricket Board to develop its Junior Section and the facilities at the Club.
The Club’s winter indoor nets programme commences at the Cornwall Cricket Centre on the Truro College Campus for 6 weeks commencing on Tuesday 25 February 2014, from 8.00 to 10.00 pm weekly. Old and new members are all equally welcome to attend. Any new members should contact the Hon Secretary Nick Cole on 01872 270805 with any queries.
