St Just are back on top of the Jolly’s Drinks ECB Cornwall Premier League. They lead Truro by just 2 points after their win over Helston and Truro’s defeat to Werrington.
St Just made 258 for five at home to Helston with Justin Stephens making 66 and Harry Medhurst 60. Helston were all out for 164.
Werrington won a high scoring game at Truro by 17 runs. Werrington made 308 for 5 with Mark Gribble hitting 98 and Paul Smith 81. Truro were all out for 288 in the last over with Scott Harvey getting 71.
Penzance won a low scoring game at Falmouth by 2 wickets after bowling the home side out for 99. Penzance ended on 103 for 8.
Grampound Road were bowled out for 193 at St Austell who replied with 196 for 3 with 14 balls to spare.
Redruth’s Toby Whiteford hit a superb 150 at Newquay to see his side reach 294 for 4. Newquay were all out for 224.
The race for the County Division 1 title is hotting up with the top three teams now covered by just 7 points. Leaders Camborne lost at Callington while Hayle are just 3 points behind after beating St Minver.

Rosudgeon 171 all out beat Beacon 120 all out
Roche 323 for 2 beat Werrington seconds 69 all out
Ludgvan 131 all out beat St Gluvias 110 all out
Wadebridge 215 all out beat Gorran 115 all out
Today Cornwall start a top of the table Unicorns Counties Championship game with Berkshire at Grampound Road at 11am.
