Liskeard 2 withdraw from Division 5

League Statement
Sadly Liskeard Cricket Club have withdrawn their second eleven from Division 5 East of the Jolly’s Drinks Cornwall Cricket League.
They have stated to the League “ It is with great regret that Liskeard Cricket Club will have to withdraw their second team from the league.
Falling numbers and injuries make it impossible for us to field 22 players on a regular basis.
We aim to use this season to consolidate and bounce back with a second team as soon as we can.
We have left it until now as we still had hopes of fielding a second team”.
Marc Wright, Liskeard CC Secretary
Division 5 East will therefore comprise of 11 teams for the 2016 season. Liskeard do hope to be competitive in Division Three however.
