Jolly’s Drinks Premier 50/50 Cup games wins for Penzance, St Austell, St Just, and Truro.
At Redruth Penzance scored 262 for 8 with Greg Smith making 79. Redruth made 160 in reply.
In a low scoring game at Newquay St Austell reached 139 all out. Newquay were dismissed for 103.
Helston scored 157 at St Just. The holders were 100 for 6 in reply before an unbroken seventh wicket stand of 58 between Gareth May and Mark George got them over the line.
Werrington’s Mark Gribble made 84 not out to see Werrington to 181 all out at Truro. Australian Ben Parish took five for 36. Truro made 182 for 8 to win by two wickets with Conor Miles making 65.
Callington, St Minver and Werrington seconds are the pace setters in County Division 1 having won both opening games.

Redruth – Penzance 262-8 (G Smith 79, A Angove 50, C Goldsworthy 39; M Jenkin 2-26, B Stevens 2-38, C Williams 2-42, M Strick 2-70), Redruth 160 (J Butler 43, T Whiteford 33, M Jenkin 27; A Angove 4-36, C Fortune 3-28). Penzance (19points) beat Redruth (seven) by 102 runs. Penzance deducted 1pt for a slow over rate.
St Just – Helston 157 (D Jenkin 30, S Jenkin 24, L Vaaltyn 20; H Medhurst 4-28, C Donnelly 2-20, M George 2-27, B Wadlan 2-37), St Just 158-6 (N Curnow 62, M George 33no, G May 28no; G Tregenza 3-20, S Eddy 2-34). St Just (20 points) beat Helston (six) by four wickets.
