The holders, St Just, missed out when they were beaten by Penzance at Cape Road.
They were dismissed for 119. Penzance replied with 122 for 4 to win by 6 wickets.
In the east group Werrington made 309 for 7 at home to St Austell.
St Austell responded with 298 for 9 to lose by just 11 runs. Mike Bone made 97.
Grampound Road made 182 for 9 at home to Newquay who were shot out for 72 with Lewis Sanders taking 6 for 18.
