Just a point separates St Just and Truro at the top of the Jolly’s Drinks ECB Premier League
after both won again yesterday.
St Just’s Damon Fillery took 6 for 48 to restrict St Austell to 225 for 9. St Just won by five wickets with two overs to spare after making 228 for 5 with Callum Donnelly 57 not out..
Falmouth were dismissed for 129 at Truro who eased to victory by 6 wickets by making 130 for 4.
Newquay’s relegation was confirmed when they lost to Helston by 67 runs. Helston made 193 all out and Newquay were dismissed for 126.
Paul Smith hit 132 not out as Werrington made 252 for 5 at Penzance. The home side made 256 for 4 to win by six wickets with half centuries from Christian Purchase, Greg Smith and Jonny Ludlam.
Redruth made 224 for 9 at home to Grampound Road with Muhammad Wajihuddin top scoring with 77. The Road replied with 199 for 9 to lose by 25 runs.
InCounty Division 1 the top four all won to leave Hayle four points clear of St Minver.

Hayle 256 all out beat St Gluvias 121 all out
St Minver 233 for 6 beat Roche 141 all out
Rosudgeon 124 all out lost to Camborne 125 for 1
Wadebridge 100 all out lost to Ludgvan 101 for 1
Callington 225 for 9 beat Gorran 143 all out
Werrington seconds 120 all out lost to Beacon 122 for 1
Today Cornwall play Devon at Sidmouth in the Unicorns Counties Championship.
